Seminole Dining strives to enhance our students, faculty & staff and visitors’ quality of life by providing a dining program that meets your needs. As part of our goal to create an exceptional dining experience, Seminole Dining is upgrading campus dining facilities, beginning with the Suwannee Room. We are working to make this a smooth transition as we renovate Suwannee, with a design plan to revolutionize the way you eat.
When is Suwannee relocating due to the renovation of the current location? When will the renovation be completed?
Suwannee's transformation will begin Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Suwannee at the Union will open on Thursday, January 4, 2018. The renovations of the current location will be complete late summer 2018.
Why is the current location being renovated?
The current location has not had a full renovation in 11 years. Continuing to upgrade facilities is a key part of an exceptional dining experience.
What will Suwannee look like after the renovation? What will be different?
Suwannee will feature a new updated look with open kitchens where you can watch our skilled Chefs prepare your food, with a focus on Fresh from Florida ingredients. Look forward to a new full service bakery, expanded salad bar, updated private dining room, a MyZone area, free of tree nut, peanut and gluten-containing ingredients and products. All this and more for a truly FSUnique experience.
Where will I be able to use my meal plan if I only eat at Suwannee?
You can continue to dine with us at Seminole Café, Oglesby Union, and The Community Table. At the Oglesby Union Food Hub, we’ll transform our locations into an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience. Also, The Community Table will feature a variety of menu items that you can select from for a meal swipe.
I have a VIP meal plan. Where can I dine now?

Can I downgrade my meal plan?
Please visit the Terms and Conditions page to learn more information. Plans can be downgraded to another eligible plan by January 12, 2018, at 4:30 pm. Students living in a residence hall with a mandatory dining plan must satisfy their requirement with the Open Access or 200 Your Way dining plan. Why downgrade when you get more flexibility and more options with your meal plan? Suwannee at the Union, The Community Table, and our food trucks will be accepting meal plan swipes.
With Suwannee being renovated for the spring semester, can I cancel my meal plan?
All meal plans purchased in the Fall are two-semester commitments. Seminole Dining will continue to offer all of Suwannee’s favorites at our new location at Oglesby Union. In addition, a new meal plan location will be available for meal plan holders at The Community Table and at the food trucks. Please visit our website for future locations and information about our renovation process.
Our team is excited that renovated facilities, coupled with our passionate and talented culinary team, will excel your dining program to a Top 25!
