February 18, 2019

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Seminole Dining’s unique food truck Tres Habaneros has an exciting taco deal for Taco Tuesday.
On Taco Tuesdays, Florida State University students, faculty and staff can purchase tacos for $1.
“It gets crazy here on Tuesdays,” Tres Habaneros employee Tyrone Myles. “We have students lined up. It’s definitely our busiest day of the week!”
The dollar tacos include beef, lettuce and cheese. Students are also able to purchase add-ons for just 59 cents apiece. These add-ons include different flavored salsas, habaneros, jalapeños, cilantro, diced onions, tomatoes, pico de gallo and chipotle dressing. Extras also include guacamole and sour cream.
For those craving a different Mexican dish, Tres Habaneros offers more than just tacos. Students and faculty can purchase a burrito, rice bowl, taco salad or house-made nachos. To complement each meal, cilantro lime rice, pinto beans, black beans, vegetarian refried beans and chips and salsa are available as sides.
“We want to provide Florida State University students, faculty and staff a variety of delicious dining options,” Seminole Dining Regional District Manager John Teeple said. “Tres Habaneros is an excellent way for our customers to enjoy a fast Mexican-style meal at an incredibly affordable price.”
Tres Habaneros is located at University Center A, 284 Champions Way, next to Garnet & Go. It is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday.
