The Suwannee Room features a diverse menu in an updated historic setting where you can grab a great meal at the heart of FSU’s campus. The open kitchen layout has been converted to a series of one-way travel patterns designed to encourage social distancing and to route patrons effectively to the dining options of their choice such as Homestyle, Simple Servings and Deli/ Grill. The dining hall provides meal options to go for everyone, including Mindful recipes that are low-calorie, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, peanut-free and tree-nut-free at the Simple Serving station.
An Update on Suwannee Room: We are excited to share that starting October 5th, 2020, Suwannee Room will have limited in-dining seating. As a result, Suwannee Room will also be closed daily from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm to clean and sanitize seating areas. Please let the cashier know if you are dining in or taking you meal to go.
Fan Favorites: Honey fried chicken, omelets, blueberry pancakes, house-roasted deli meats, cookies and brownies.
Fun Fact: The Suwannee Room opened in 1913 and underwent an extensive renovation in 2018. The update, while preserving historical features, created a modern venue where diners can enjoy food and friendship in a comfortable environment.
